The SolarEdge Backup Interface (BI-EUSGN-01) provides 200 Amp whole house backup for line side (or service side) connection. The backup interface connects to the SolarEdge Energy Hub inverter, automatically providing backup power to full or partial home loads during grid outages. Homeowners have full flexibility when deciding which household loads to backup, whether it is the entire home or selected loads.

Designed for fast and easy installation, the backup interface includes the SolarEdge energy meter for self-consumption management and a 5kW auto-transformer for split phase balancing. The backup interface is generator compatible and is scalable to support higher capacity. It also integrates seamlessly with the StorEdge inverter to manage and monitor both PV generation and energy storage. Backed by a 12-year warranty, which includes the energy meter and auto-transformer components
